DeadlineThe first bomb has trapped them. The second will either kill them - or save them.
Every day, hundreds of subway trains speed through the tunnel beneath the river. But today, one train isn't going to make it. Just as it reaches the middle, an explosion rocks the train and rips it apart, killing many and turning a random group of strangers into a community of survivors.
Among them are the straitlaced young TV reporter Claudia and the unbearably cocky yet likeable software developer Jon, as well as a rebellious teen, a kind-hearted homeless man and a claustrophobic nurse. Since the tunnel has collapsed around the train, they try to dig through the rubble. But when the river water begins to seep in, they are forced to flee into a shaft, past live wires, into a storage room.
Time is of the essence, since not only is the water flooding their refuge, but there is another bomb in the tunnel, which could go off at any moment. The drilling of the rescue team above them keeps their hopes up - but when the drilling suddenly stops, it's up to them to find a way out. Fast.
