TsunamiHighly explosive methane gas... A cold-blooded madman... A time bomb ticking away in the North Sea
Something suspicious is going on in the sea. And it's coming from Rantum IV, an oil-drilling platform in the North Sea a few hundred kilometers from the sandy beaches of Sylt, a North-German island. But before young E.U. envoy Svenja can question Dr. Wieland, who is in charge of environmental protection on Rantum IV, Wieland is murdered. Fortunately, he's given his best friend Jan explosive documents about the activities on the rig. As Jan meets up with Svenja to give her the information, the two suddenly find themselves fleeing a gigantic tidal wave that sweeps across the coast of Sylt. Convinced that unauthorized drillings caused the wave, Svenja and Jan travel to Rantum IV, which, however, is now in the hands of the evil engineer Kramnik. If the operator of Rantum IV doesn't give him 10 million euros, he'll ignite an entire field of methane gas, triggering a far more devastating tsunami...
