Two Hearts and a Throne
During a meeting of the three reigning emperors - the German Kaiser, the Austro-Hungarian emperor and the czar of Russia - in Bad Ischl, negotiations on a marriage between the German prince Eberhard and the czar's niece Nina Charlotta are taking place. The two young nobles do not yet know each other and are both rebelling against the idea of being forced to marry. They meet by accident and fall in love with each other without knowing who the other is. After several misunderstandings, in which the prince is mistaken for an anarchist (along with other mix- ups), the situation is cleared up during a royal hunt, and all obstacles to their getting married are removed.
