Victoria in Dover
The young, inexperienced queen Victoria is given advice by her ambitious mother and other members of the court that is not always impartial, especially concerning a politically favorable marriage. On the eve of her birthday, to which three possible suitors have been invited, Victoria runs away heading for Paris. But fate will have it that the young man, with whom she falls in love during the journey, is none other than prince Albert of Sachsen-Coburg-Gotha, one of the suitors. Without revealing her identity, the young queen rushes back to London to prepare a surprise for Albert.
