The Norwegian drama series Rumors is taking Italy by storm once again, climbing to 4th place on RaiPlay’s international Top 10 list. The Italian news outlet La Stampa dubbed the series "a must-watch for anyone seeking to understand the hidden dynamics shaping today’s youth." Rumors explores the daily lives and struggles of Norwegian teenagers. Its success follows a strong debut in Norway, where the show ranked in the top three on the public broadcaster NRK TV soon after its 2022 premiere.

Rumors (30x12') is about a group of Norwegian tenth graders on a small island, dealing with friends, bullies, and big emotions. They are busy juggling emotions, friendships, their search for identity, young love, and, of course, rumors spreading online.

This YA series, directed by Kjersti G. Steinsbø (Bergensfjord), follows in the footsteps of the global phenomenon Skam. Rumors is produced by Mothership Entertainment.
