Beta nominated with three high-profile series for Seoul International Drama Awards

Jan Schomburg, creator, head-writer, and showrunner of Other People’s Money (8x1h), which premiered to great success at this year’s Berlinale, is nominated for Best Screenplay alongside co-writers Astrid Øye and Pål Sletaune, while the Greek TV sensation The Beach Season II earned nominations in the categories Best Series and Best Actor for Giorgos Ninios. Director Yiannis Vasileiadis received a nomination for Best Director for his work on Grand Hotel - All Secrets Stay Here (150x1h).
Other People’s Money tells the story of the biggest tax fraud in European history – and how two women fought to put an end to it. The series is produced by X Filme Creative Pool and True Content Entertainment in co-production with EPO- Film, ZDF and DR and with NRK, SVT, RUV, YLE, NPO, VRT. Co-funded by Fisa+, GMPF, the European Union, Medienboard Berlin-Brandenburg, The Nordvisions Fund and Croatian Audiovisual Center.
The Beach (294x1h) is produced by Foss Production in co-production with ERT. Love and freedom are infused in an idyllic commune on the shores of Crete in 1969, until a murder exposes the messy entanglements spurred on by the hippies.
Grand Hotel - All Secrets Stay Here is produced by JK Production for Antenna, the series tells the story of forbidden love, a mysterious disappearance and a place full of secrets; that's Grand Hotel, a daily drama series full of suspense, passion and unexpected twists. The series is a remake of the multi-awarded Spanish hit series Grand Hotel, praised as “Spanish Downton Abbey” by international media.
