Beta Group celebrates seven fiction awards at the 2025 German Television Awards

Berlin ER (8x1h, ZDF/Apple TV+/Violet Pictures/REAL FILM Berlin) was honored with Best Drama Series and Best Camera Fiction (Tim Kuhn, Jieun Yi). The series had received nominations in the categories Best Director (Fabian Möhrke, Alex Schaad), Best Actress (Haley Louise Jones), Best Actor (Slavko Popadic), and Best Editing Fiction (Julia Kovalenko, Gesa Jäger, Bobby Good, Adrienne Hudson). Beta handles the world sales for the series.
Beta’s I Am Scrooge (6x1h, RTL+/Zeitsprung Pictures) won Best Costume/Production Design Fiction (Anke Winckler for Costume, Julian Augustin for Production Design). The limited series based on true events had also been nominated in the categories Best Actor (Friedrich Mücke), as well as Best Camera Fiction (Felix Cramer). Beta Film is selling the series worldwide.
After celebrating its world premiere at this year’s Berlin International Film Festival, Other People’s Money (8x1h, ZDF/X Filme/True Content Entertainment/epo-Film) was honored with a nomination for Best Screenplay Fiction (Jan Schomburg, Astrid Øye, Pål Sletaune). Beta Film handles the world sales for the series.
As a part of Beta Group, X Filme and Sperl Film can celebrate the wins for Herrhausen - The Banker and the Bomb (ARD/Degeto/rbb/SWR/hr/Sperl Film/ X Filme) which included both Best Director (Pia Strietmann) and Best Music (Martina Eisenreich). The limited series had also been nominated for Best TV Movie/Miniseries.
Furthermore, X Filme received two awards for ZEIT Verbrechen (RTL+/ X Filme), winning Best Editing Fiction (Andrea "Andi" Pek, Christoph Otto, Andreas Menn, Friederike Hohmuth) and the Promotional Award for actor Samuel Benito. ZEIT Verbrechen was also nominated for Best Drama Series and Best Camera Fiction (Felix Pflieger).
