Munich/Cannes, 09 October 2025. The addictive thriller series The Couple Next Door – Deadly Attraction travels around the globe: Beta Film has sold the Eagle Eye Drama/Channel 4 series to over 50 territories worldwide, including Australia (Foxtel Group), New Zealand (TVNZ), Latin America (NBC Universal), the Middle East (Safe Media), Macao and Hong Kong (Now TV), and South Korea (LGUplus). In Europe, RAI acquired the rights to the series for Italy, while Canal+ has bought the show for Poland and VTM for Belgium. Across Scandinavia, public broadcasters picked up the six-hour drama: DR in Denmark, SVT in Sweden, and YLE in Finland, among others. 

The Couple Next Door - Deadly Attraction stars Sam Palladio (Nashville), Annabel Scholey (Being Human), Aggy Adams (The Witcher), Sendhil Ramamurthy (Heroes) and Hugh Dennis (Fleabag). The sexy thriller series premiered this summer to great acclaim on Channel 4.

The predecessor of the crime drama, The Couple Next Door starring Sam Heughan, premiered in 2023 and was one of Channel 4’s biggest scripted streaming launches at the time.

In The Couple Next Door - Deadly Attraction (6x1h), Charlotte and Jacob’s lives and careers have proceeded exactly as they always expected: a lovely home, happily child free, with the time and the money to do whatever they want. They truly are a high-powered couple: she, a brilliant heart surgeon; he, a consultant anesthetist. When Charlotte’s old flame Leo is revealed to be a potential new investor at the hospital, Jacob’s long-suppressed worries about his work and in his marriage start to bubble to the surface. And when the mysterious nurse Mia comes into their lives, she soon works her way into Jacob’s and Charlotte’s street, their confidence, and even their bed, befriending neighborhood outcast Alan along the way. But is Mia the bright nurse she appears to be? And why do patients at the hospital start dying? One thing is clear: Giving in to your desires could have deadly consequences.

The Couple Next Door - Deadly Attraction is produced by Eagle Eye Drama for Channel 4, in association with Beta Film. It is loosely adapted from the Scandinavian drama Fatal Injections by Kamikaze Film CPH.

Eagle Eye Drama also produced the predecessor series The Couple Next Door, which is based on the Dutch format The Neighbours by Millstreet Films.
