The Austrian Christmas box-office-hit 'Aufputzt is' is making history: The comedy feature produced by Gebhardt Productions, a subsidiary of Beta Film, has attracted 441,823 visitors to Austrian cinemas in just nine weeks, jumping to the second place on the country’s all-time box-office charts. The continued strong ticket sales in January contributed to the success, with tens of thousands of fans following the story of an "almost" screwed Christmas party. “Aufputzt is” is an Austrian dialect synonym for “decorated”.
