Munich, 19 March 2026. Beta has reached an agreement with Nine Network for worldwide rights to the long-running action-drama series Sea Patrol (68 x one hour). The series has been sold to RAI Italy, where it is currently ranked in the top 10, alongside the internationally popular Hudson & Rex (136x1h), also sold by Beta Film

Set against the awesome beauty of the Australian Coastline, the series follows the crew of the Naval Patrol ship HMAS Hammersley. Under the leadership of the audacious Commanding Officer Mike Flynn (Ian Stenlake) and the often overbearing Executive Officer Kate McGregor (Lisa McCune), have to battle their way through the perilous elements of the Southern hemisphere to provide security, surveillance, protection, rescue, and relief on some of the most dangerous waters on earth. Whether they are hunting down armed drug smugglers, chasing thieves or pirates, helping reckless fools, or saving illegal immigrants, their adventures serve to bring the crew together to forge deep and longstanding friendships that cross all boundaries.

Spanning five seasons, Beta had already sold the series to 35 territories since its original run from 2007-2011. Sea Patrol is produced by Nine Film & TV Pty for Nine Network and McElroy All Media.
