Leticia Dolera’s drama ‘Pubertat’ debuts strong on 3Cat with outstanding premiere ratings
These impressive ratings follow a row of successes by the series: Just recently, Beta Film sold Pubertat to the European public service broadcaster ARTE (France and Germany) and SWR (Germany). It was presented at last year’s San Sebastian Film Festival and took the Spanish Ondas Award for Best Series. It was also nominated at the Prix Europa in the category Fiction, as well as at the Forqué Awards for Best Fiction Series. At the Feroz Awards, Pubertat garnered two nominations for Best Drama Series and Best Supporting Actress in a Series (Betsy Túrnez). Just in March, it was also nominated at the ALMA Awards, presented by the Spanish screenwriters' union, for Best Screenplay in a Drama Series.
In Pubertat - Secrets, Lies, and Human Castles (6x1h), internationally acclaimed multi-talent Leticia Dolera takes a warm look at lost love between parents and their teenage children and how it might be rediscovered. Set against the backdrop of the Catalan tradition of human towers, the series is produced by Distinto Films, Corte y Confección de Películas, Uri Films, Altres Films, AT-Prod in co-production with 3Cat and the participation of HBO Max Spain. Beta Film handles world sales for the series.
