Beta Film Productions’ Empathy and Gomorrah – The Origins were honored with a total of five awards at two major international television festivals: While Empathy was honored four times at the Banff World Media Festival’s Rockie Awards, among them the Grand Jury Prize, Gomorrah – The Origins won Best Creation at the Golden Nymph Awards at the Monte-Carlo Television Festival.

A Crave and Canal+ Original series by Florence Longpré (AUDREY’S BACK) and produced by Trio Orange, Empathy was a big winner at the Rockie Awards, honored with the Grand Jury Prize, the Rogers Prize for Excellence in Canadian Content, the award for Best Best Drama Series: Non-English Language, as well as the Prix Francophone. The series, which was among the most successful programs on Crave in Canada in 2025, stars its creator Florence Longpré alongside Thomas Ngijol. Empathy premiered at last year’s Series Mania, winning the Audience Award and a 13-minute standing ovation.  At Serielizados Fest 2025 alone, the series garnered three awards overall. Empathy furthermore won Best Series at the Venice TV Awards and late last year, it was nominated for Best Series at the Rose D’Or Awards and for Best Non-English-Language Drama Series at the C21 International Drama Awards.

Gomorrah – The Origins, produced by Sky Studios and Cattleya and directed by Marco D’Amore and Francesco Ghiaccio, is the highly anticipated prequel to the internationally acclaimed Gomorrah franchise. Gomorrah – The Origins won Best Creation at the Golden Nymph Awards. Lead actors Luca Lubrano and Francesco Pellegrino attended the ceremony in Monte Carlo and accepted the award on behalf of the production. Gomorrah – The Origins just recently was nominated at the Italian Nastri d'Argento for Best TV Series - Crime.
