Professor T Season 4 Launches to 1.61 Million Viewers on ITV1 and Tops ITVX

The fourth season is directed by Belgian directors Dries Vos (Professor T., Suspect) and Kaat Beels (Hotel Beau Séjour), with Jo McGrath and Walter Iuzzolino returning as executive producers. It stars Ben Miller (Death in Paradise, Johnny English and Bridgerton), Frances De La Tour (Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, The History Boys), Juliet Stevenson (Truly, Madly, Deeply) and Barney White (Masters of The Air). The fourth season airs on ITV1 and STV, and streams on ITVX and STV player.
In the new season, Professor Jasper Tempest once again uses his unique insight and analysis to help the police solve a range of intriguing crimes in the beautiful university city of Cambridge. Six months following Season 3’s devastating finale, dark clouds loom over the team. Consumed by grief, Dan dives headfirst into his work under the supervision of DCI Goswami who struggles to keep order. The Professor takes up a very unexpected new hobby - avoiding the police at all costs. Dr. Helena Goldberg intervenes to help but soon begins to question her own integrity as his therapist. The police team continue to fight some complex and dangerous cases with the addition of an eager new team member, DC Chloe Highsmith. The Dean is struck by the shock return of an old flame, Zelda - Adelaide’s sister and Jasper’s aunt. Love is on the horizon – but who would have thought that this might also be the case for Jasper?
