Munich, 26 August 2026. Munich-based Beta Group has plenty of reason to celebrate, as they have garnered nine nominations at the German Television Awards, the national equivalent to the Emmys. In the fiction categories, Beta Film’s limited series Shadow Leaks (6x1h, ARD / Degeto / hr / funk / Dreamtool Entertainment) received nominations, for Best Drama Series and Best Actress (Samirah Breuer). The series Mozart Mozart (6x1h, Story House Pictures / ARD / WDR / SWR / ARD Degeto Film / ORF / Dreaming Sheep Company) was honored with a nomination for Best Music. Beta Film and Bavaria Media are handling world sales for the series.

Zeitsprung Pictures, part of Beta Group, can celebrate a nomination for Best Actress for Derya Akyol in their series Euphorie (RTL+ / Zeitsprung Pictures). Sommerhaus Filmproduktion, also part of Beta Group, received two nods as well, for Best TV Movie and Best Actor (Edin Hasanović) for their TV movie Tatort: Dunkelheit (ARD / Degeto / hr / Sommerhaus Filmproduktion).

In the entertainment categories, Beta Group’s Seapoint Productions took three nominations, one for Best Entertainment Reality for Princess Charming (RTL+/Seapoint Productions) and two for their show Let’s Dance (RTL/Seapoint Productions), Best Presentation/Individual Performance Entertainment as well as Beste Production Design Entertainment.

The German TV Awards Gala will be held September 9 in Cologne.
