"Grand Hotel" – French remake succeeds as prime time winner

Starring internationally renowned Carole Bouquet (James Bond) and Solène Hébert (Emma), the series has gathered a broad audience of all ages.
"Grand Hôtel" circles around Anthony Costa, played by Victor Meutelet (MILF), who starts working as a waiter at the historic Grand Hotel on the French Riviera to find his missing sister. An encounter with the hotel manager's wife leads to unexpected events that turn his life upside down, revealing dangerous secrets, lies and intrigues.
The French version (8 x 52') of the Spanish original stands in a row of successful adaptions, led by the Italian "Imperial" on RAI, "El Hotel de los Secretos", another Spanish-language version by Televisa USA, and "Secrets of the Nile", the Arabic re-creation. Praised by British media as the "Spanish Downtown Abbey," the series has been sold by Beta Film in over 130 territories. Beta also handles the remakes.
The original "Gran Hotel" (three seasons, 39 x 70'/66 x 45') was aired on Spain's Antena 3 with 3.5 million viewers and a consistent market share of nearly 20%, was also honored with numerous national TV awards.
