This year's C21 International Drama Awards shortlist includes three Beta Film entries. The Italian YA drama The Sea Beyond is nominated in the category of Returning Drama Series, while Prisma and El Inmortal are both contenders in the Best Non-English Language Drama category.

The Sea Beyond (48xone hour), a multi-awarded series and Italy's record-breaking phenomenon, recently celebrated the world premiere of its fourth season at the Rome Film Festival. The hit drama, produced by Picomedia and Rai Fiction, revolves around a group of young inmates in a Naples youth detention center. It achieved remarkable viewing records on Rai's streaming service RaiPlay, accumulating over 220 million total views and consistently ranking in the Netflix Top 10 for more than 30 weeks in Italy.

Prisma (16xone hour) has made history as the first-ever series to premiere at the Locarno Film Festival. The YA drama circles around the identical adolescent twins and their group of friends who are united by their turbulent journey of self-discovery, looking for their place in this always-changing world. This series is produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Cross Productions.

Inspired by true events and the life of the leader of the 'Los Miami' gang, El Inmortal - Gangs of Madrid, (14xone hour) has been sold across Europe after its premiere at Canneseries 2022. Starring multi-awarded actor Alex Garcia, the show chronicles the rise of José Antonio as he becomes one of Madrid's most prolific drug lords. The drama is produced by Movistar Plus+ and Telemundo International Studios in collaboration with DLO Producciones.
