The debut of the drama series The Couple Next Door on UK’s Channel 4 has captivated up to 1.1 million viewers linear, with catch up numbers still to be announced, outperformed its slot average and triumphed over its competitors on BBC1 and BBC2. Starring Sam Heughan and Eleanor Tomlinson, the series scored #1 show of Channel 4's most popular programmes online and debuted with its first two episodes on British prime time this week. The six-hour series will soon premiere on Foxtel in Australia, Movistar+ in Spain and on STARZ/LIONSGATE+ in the US.

The Couple Next Door is a deliciously dark, psychological drama, exploring the stultifying claustrophobia of suburbia and the fallout of chasing one’s darkest desires.
