The dark and compelling drama series The Couple Next Door claims its status as Channel 4's biggest scripted streaming launch ever. The series has captured the attention of British viewers with nearly five million streams to date on Channel 4. The first episode alone achieved a remarkable one million streams within the first seven days post launch, beating the previous record held by It's a Sin.
 
Hailed by The Guardian as "a sexy, fantastic time", The Couple Next Door had a triumphant linear debut on Channel 4 where it outperformed its time slot with up to 1.1 million viewers. It is currently also available to stream on Foxtel in Australia, Movistar Plus+ in Spain, and SVT Play in Sweden. The show is gearing up to reach more territories, with a debut on STARZ/LIONSGATE+ in the United States planned for next year.
