Munich/Lille, 4 March 2025. Beta Film heads to Lille to present the first ever Beta Brunch at Series Mania. The industry staple was previously exclusively held in Cannes during MIPCOM and MIPTV and will now kick off the newly established Series Mania Buyer Upfront for the first time. Further, Beta’s latest YA-thriller Shadow Leaks (6x1h, Dreamtool Entertainment/ARD Degeto Film/funk/HR) is part of the official selection for the Buyers Upfront. The six-part series follows a group of high school pupils when a mysterious website starts leaking everyone’s most intimate secrets just before their graduation. But what does it all have to do with a student’s recent passing?
